IPTV screen rotation: system setting or player orientation?
A sideways or upright player is a different question from cropped video. Identify what rotates on Android before changing display controls or asking for help.
Notice which part of the display turns
Begin an IPTV screen rotation check by noting whether the whole app, only the video or neither changes when you turn the phone. Use the same player screen for the comparison; a menu and full-screen video are different views. Put the phone in a stable, comfortable position and note the starting orientation. Do not assume a narrow picture needs zooming. Rotation changes the viewing direction, while cropping removes part of the visible image. Record the difference before touching picture-size controls.
Check the system and the player separately
Google documents an Android auto-rotate setting. Its location and presentation can vary with the device. If you choose to compare that setting, note its original state and change only that control. Then return to the same player view. If the player offers its own orientation or lock control, consult its help before using it. Do not change unrelated accessibility features, permissions or account details to make the screen turn.

Keep a useful before-and-after note
Describe whether the app menu rotates but playback stays upright, or whether both stay fixed. Include the phone model, Android version, player version and the control compared. Restore the starting setting if the comparison is unhelpful. A fixed orientation alone does not establish a subscription fault or service outage. Send these observations through private support without passwords, playlist addresses or account-access links.
