IPTV aspect ratio: check picture shape before cropping
A stretched face and a missing picture edge are different clues. Compare one display control, keep the original setting and describe the result before changing more.
Describe the shape of the problem
If faces look unusually wide or a circular graphic looks oval, write that down before changing the IPTV aspect ratio. Missing text at an edge is a separate clue. Look at an ordinary player menu as well as the programme: is the whole interface affected, or only the video? Note the device, player and whether the problem appears in a window or full screen. Black bars alone do not establish a fault.
Compare one display control
VideoLAN documents aspect ratio and crop as separate VLC controls. Use that distinction when reading your own player's options; names and availability vary. Record the current choice first. If a relevant automatic or default choice is available, compare it with the existing setting without also changing the television. Keep the same scene visible where possible. A fuller screen is not necessarily a more accurate picture, especially if important edges disappear.

Restore and report the result
Restore the original choice if the comparison is worse or unclear. Avoid cycling through several controls and losing the starting point. If another programme looks normal, include that observation without assuming every source should have identical framing. For Opplex IPTV support, describe which edge is missing or which shapes look stretched, the setting compared and its result. Hide account details in any screenshot; a display adjustment does not confirm that a service problem is resolved.
