Android IPTV app permissions: read the request before allowing access
A player permission prompt is a request for a particular feature, not a universal playback fix. Check the reason, review one setting and keep account details private.
Match access to the feature
When an Android player asks for access, pause and read the whole prompt. IPTV app permissions should be considered alongside the action you chose, such as opening a local file or enabling an alert. A notification request concerns alerts; it does not by itself explain a playback failure. Write down the permission name and what you were doing. This guide concerns Android phones; television menus and other platforms can differ.
Review one permission at a time
Google documents the phone route as Settings, Apps, the relevant app, then Permissions. Read the current choice before changing it; labels vary by device and Android version. File or photo access concerns device content and is separate from notifications. Consult the player's explanation before allowing access for an optional feature. Change only the relevant permission, then repeat that same action and note the result.

Ask about an unexplained request
If a permission has no clear connection to your chosen feature, leave it undecided or denied while seeking an explanation. Do not grant everything or disable device protection to troubleshoot a stream. Opplex IPTV support is available 24 hours: share the phone model, Android version, player name and exact prompt. Hide credentials and private service addresses in screenshots. Ask which feature needs the access and what remains usable without it.
