IPTV repeat playback: a VLC loop or an unexpected restart?
If the same scene returns in VLC for Android, check repeat mode and A-B markers before treating it as an unexpected restart. Compare one existing video at a time.
Notice exactly where the picture returns
An IPTV repeat playback check begins with the pattern: does a finished video return to its beginning, or does a short passage jump back to the same point? Note the displayed position before and after the jump, if available. Also note whether the player stays open or closes and reopens. These are different observations; a repeated scene alone does not identify a network fault. Keep the same video for the comparison.
Inspect whole-video repeat and A-B markers separately
VideoLAN documents a Repeat mode that repeats the current video and an A-B repeat feature that loops between selected start and end points. Open the video player's additional options and inspect the relevant controls. If an unintended loop is active, disable repeat or remove the A-B markers using the available control. Labels and icons may vary by version. Change only that setting, then observe whether playback passes the former return point.

Describe a restart that remains after the loop check
The documented loop controls do not establish that every live input can seek or repeat. If a control is unavailable, record that rather than forcing this procedure. If the jump continues with loops inactive, send private support the VLC version, video type, approximate return positions and any error text. State whether the app itself reopened. Keep credentials and playlist addresses out of the report; leave other player settings unchanged during this comparison.
